Socratopia (https://www.socratopia.ca) is owned and operated by Herais International. The Service is an educational knowledge platform publishing eighteen curated dictionaries together with THARA and NOVO, grounded AI study assistants. Wisdom Without Walls.

Your use of the Service is governed by the Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Service.

These documents form a single framework and should be read together:

• Terms and Conditions: the binding contract for using Socratopia - licence, acceptable use, subscriptions, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity.

Socratopia provides general educational and reference information only. In medicine, healthcare, pharmacy, law, engineering, finance and every other professional field, it supports - but never replaces - qualified professional judgement and the current official sources, standards, codes and law of your jurisdiction. Content, including AI-generated answers, may contain errors or become outdated. Always verify critical decisions independently against primary sources and a duly qualified professional. Any reliance you place on the Service is strictly at your own risk.

The Socratopia name and logo, the dictionary compilations, entries and definitions, artwork plates, brochures, e-books, the THARA and NOVO assistants, and all software, design and text of the Service are the property of Herais International and its licensors, protected by Canadian and international copyright, trade-mark and related laws. All rights are reserved; no rights are transferred to you except the limited licence granted in the Terms and Conditions.

You may quote brief excerpts with clear attribution for personal, educational, scholarly or journalistic purposes to the extent allowed by applicable fair-dealing and fair-use rules. Systematic reproduction, redistribution, resale, scraping or commercial exploitation of the catalogue or any other content requires our prior written permission, which may be requested through the contact form.

We respect the intellectual-property rights of others. If you believe in good faith that material on the Service infringes your copyright or trade-mark, send a notice through the contact form that identifies: the work or mark you own; the allegedly infringing material and its location; your contact details; and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf. We will review valid notices promptly and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the material. Knowingly making a false claim may expose you to liability under applicable law.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the liability of Herais International is limited as set out in sections 13 to 15 of the Terms and Conditions. Nothing on this page reduces or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be reduced or excluded.

References to any institution, publisher, professional body, product or brand within the dictionaries or AI answers are for identification and reference purposes only and imply no affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from Herais International or Socratopia.

These notices and your use of the Service are governed by the laws of Canada and the laws of the province in which Herais International resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
